“Rick & Bubba” have been teamed together since January 1994 when WQEN Gadsden AL promoted Bussey from Chief Engineer to co-host of Burgess’ morning show at Rick’s request. The show would move to AC “Y94.5” WYSF Birmingham in 1999 and has been based at SummitMedia Country 104.7 WZZK (https://www.wzzk.com) Birmingham since 2007. The show has had a television simulcast on multiple networks over its run including Turner South, Heartland, and The Blaze during its run. The show is currently heard on stations across 18 states mostly across the south.
