With new WXGT calls incoming for WWCD, the new brand will position as “A Better Alternative” with a mix of “national alternative music, vintage alternative and mix of local bands.” Co-owner/President Brent Casagrande told WCMH-TV (https://www.nbc4i.com/news/local-news/columbus/goodbye-cd-92-9-fm-hello-93x-new-station-taking-over-central-ohio-radio-frequency/), “The first 10 days will consist of commercial-free music. 93X will be soliciting submissions by local artists for frequent airplay on the station. We will be adding a mix of locally produced programming on the air as well as visual components such as YouTube and TikTok exclusive content.” The WXGT call letters were used in Columbus by Rock leaning CHR “92X” on 92.3 from 1978 until 1990.

That lease would come to an end in October 2020 with the 102.5 signal becoming operated by Radio One as Regional Mexican ?La Grande 102.5 (https://lagrande1025.com)? WWLG.
