Cruz had joined the company last July as Integrated Marketing Manager. After starting her career at then “Power 92” KKFR as an intern, she later held roles as APD/morning host at Classic Hip Hop “101.1 The Beat” KNRJ and MD/afternoon host at Rhythmic AC “Mega 104.3” KAJM in the market. Cruz also has hosted nights at KKUU Palm Springs and mornings at KHHM Sacramento.
She fills the midday opening created by Ashley Vikdal’s move to Audacy Sacramento/San Francisco earlier this month (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/263671/ashley-vikdal-joins-kudl-sacramento-krbq-san-francisco/).
KKFR has also added local influencer Jennifer ‘Jay Alexaa’ Flores as afternoon co-host alongside Brand Manager Jonathan ‘J Steele’ to host ?The Juice with J and Jay?.
