Bristol joined Saga from Community Broadcasters Inc., where he served as Director of Programming for the company?s music stations in Florence, Orangeburg, and Sumter SC since May 2022.
Bristol is best known for his long runs in Providence where he joined CHR “92 Pro-FM” WPRO-FM in 1978 rising from overnights to middays and Music Director in his first stint until 1993 before returning five and a half years later as Operations Manager/Program Director of WPRO-FM and sister AC “Lite Rock 105” WWLI through 2012. In between his stints in Providence, Bristol was MD/afternoon host at 96.5 WTIC-FM Hartford, Program Director of “KC 101” WKCI New Haven, and hosted weekends at “Z100” WHTZ New York. Bristol would later program Hot AC “Y100” WXYY and Classic Hits “Rewind 107.9” WRWN Savannah GA, and AC 96.1 WSRS and News/Talk 580 WTAG Worcester MA.
