With the addition of WECL, the program has been renamed “Rock Mornings with Brian & Jean” airing on both stations from 6-9am weekdays. The duo have hosted mornings together at WRQT since 2008 when Simpson moved over from afternoons at sister CHR “Z93” WIZM-FM where he used the on-air name ‘Bender’. Taylor has been with Mid-West Family La Crosse since 2000 and also serves as cluster Operation Manager. The show also includes WRQT Program Director Scott Shaw.
Simpson and Taylor succeed ‘Scorch’ who has exited. Scorch previously has worked at Rock stations across the northeast including WAAF Boston, WGIR-FM Manchester, WPYX Albany, and WKRL Syracuse. He notes his intent to relaunch his former TV show “Scorch?s PFG-TV”. Co-host T-Ri remains with WECL to host middays from 9am to 1pm.
