Ryan had been part of the WRBT morning show from its flip to Country in 1997 until exiting in December 2020 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/202592/nancy-newman-morning-show-come-to-an-end-at-bob-94-9/). She previously worked in the market at Oldies ?Kool 94.9? and later ?Kool 99.3? WWKL and had a brief stint at 97.1 WBNS-FM Columbus OH. Newman joined Ryan in 2001 with his on-air name deriving from being ?Bob?s New Man?. After stints as APD/MD he was promoted to Program Director in 2017 and moved to afternoons upon Ryan’s exit until departing himself (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/243405/newman-exits-as-bob-94-9-pd-afternoon-host/) in October 2022.
