EMF will receive the iHeart owned 94.5 W233AV Gulfport/St. Petersburg FL and 98.1 K251AU Albuquerque NM. In return, iHeart will acquire 101.1 W266CJ Beachwood/Cleveland OH and 103.7 W279AQ Mascoutah IL/St Louis MO. The deal includes a redacted amendment to the “HD Channel and Translator Broadcast Agreement” between the two organizations and a Shared Use Agreement for some of EMF’s equipment. It is unknown if any of the translators will change programming as the companies already program some translators owned by the other as part of the noted agreement. 94.5 W233AV simulcasts News/Talk 970 WFLA (https://wflanews.iheart.com) Tampa via 97.9 WXTB-HD2, K251AU is Classic Country “98.1 The Bull (https://thebullabq.iheart.com)” fed by 107.9 KBQI-HD2. The EMF owned 101.1 W266CJ carries “Air 1 (https://air1.com/)” from iHeart’s 98.1 WKDD-HD2 and W279AQ is programmed by iHeart as “BIN 103.7 (https://stlouis.binnews.com)” via 100.3 KATZ-HD2.
Following Gois Broadcasting Boston’s $550,000 purchase of 96.5 W243DC Boston in November (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/261403/station-sales-week-of-11-24/), the company is turning around and selling 94.9 W235CS Dedham to Blount Masscom for $250,000. The deal includes a $3000 per month lease until closing to immediately begin rebroadcasting Christian Preaching 1090 WILD (https://www.lifechangingradio.com/massachusetts-wvne/) Boston.
Ritmo Broadcasting sells 104.1 W281CL Cherry Hill NJ to Edwin Andrade’s The Voice Radio New Jersey LLC for $90,000. The deal lists Beasley Media’s 97.5 WPEN-FM Burlington as parent signal for what currently operates as Spanish Tropical “Ritmo FM (https://miritmofm.com/?fbclid=IwAR36nbTqxYfKGkKp_d-wtASl2NrkIQEgLi4cF1SZIaCLtwB5K-rmDps6nLY)” off of 1460 WIFI Florence.

An LMA took effect on January 1 as it joined their Catholic ?The Station of the Cross (https://thestationofthecross.com)? network.
Robbie McAlpine’s Our Town Radio acquires Oldies “Gold 97.7” WKXM-FM Winfield AL from Maxine Harper’s Ad-Media Management Corp. for $14,000. The buyer’s Vertical Holdings LLC also acquired the station’s real estate out of foreclosure. An LMA took effect on January 1. It will join the buyer’s 1570 WCRL Oneonta AL in their holdings.
Kenneth Hill purchases Country 1240 WBEJ (https://wbej.com)/107.9 W300CC Elizabethton TN from Patrica Crisp’s CB Radio Inc. for $370,000.
