The new brand will add Colbert Media Group’s Murphy, Sam and Jodi for mornings from 6-9am, while Lena Ivie remains in afternoons. The station notes core artists as including Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Adele, and Ed Sheeran.
The change gives a little more leeway between KIRQ and sister CHR “Music Monster 92.7 (https://ktpz927.com)” KTPZ, while taking it out of direct format competition with Lee Family Broadcasting Hot AC “Hot 100 (https://www.hot100now.net)” 99.9 KZDX.
