This station’s mission was originally to serve the people of Rutherford County. We are returning to that focus. We want to entertain the listeners, as well as inform them.?
Signal Hill, which also owns stations in Black Mountain, Marion, and Statesville NC, agreed to purchase WCAB in September from Todd Fowler’s Skyline Media a mere months after Skyline filed to purchase it (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/245749/station-sales-week-of-12-2/) from Isothermal Broadcasting Company in December 2022 for $450,000.
