The station will feature Compass Media Networks’ DeDe In The Morning and Baka Boyz Daily in afternoons. Twiggins, Program Director/afternoon host of sister CHR “Hot 104.9 (https://www.hot1049.com)” WHTF, will add programming duties for WQTL.
The new format will position itself between Cumulus Media’s market leading duo of Adult R&B “96.1 Jamz (https://www.961jamz.com)” WHBX and Hip Hop “Blazin 102.3 (https://www.blazin1023.com)” WWLD, which held a 11.1 and 10.2 share respectively in the Spring 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings (https://radioinsight.com/ratings/tallahassee/).
