As first indicated in our 12/5 Domain Insight report, the new station is positioning as ?Solo Idolos? with core artists Pepe Aguilar, Christian Nodal, Ana Gabriel, Joan Sebastian, and Vicente Fernandez. The new format replaces Spanish Rhythmic “M?s Flo 107.7“, which has been heard on the frequency since December 2020 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/202519/another-attempt-at-mas-flo-for-san-diego-tijuana/).
XHRST-FM had a 1.2 share in the November 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings (https://radioinsight.com/ratings/san-diego/) down from a 1.8 as recent as September. The former format featured Entravision’s syndicated Shoboy show (https://shoboyshow.com) in mornings.
