In a video on social media, Luda noted that after being hospitalized for a week in October, she came to the realization she wishes to be closer to her family in the southeast after it took her mother 20 hours to get to Portland and her husband was unable to find someone to watch their son to stay with her in the hospital. She states that she is seeking radio opportunities in that region.
Luda joined KRSK in February 2020 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/184376/105-1-the-buzz-portland-to-debut-new-morning-afternoon-shows/) after a decade as Promotions Director and morning co-host at Flinn CHR ?Q107.5? WHBQ-FM Memphis. She also has worked in sales for Clear Channel Charlotte NC. Mike Vezzola, who joined KRSK at the same time as Luda, remains in mornings.
