Dove comes out of retirement himself as he served as Pacific Northwest Region President overseeing all of iHeartMedia’s stations in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington from 2016 to the end of 2020. Dove began his career in Portland in sales at KKRZ Portland in 1984 eventually rising to General Sales Manager and Director of Sales for Clear Channel Portland. He would move to Eugene OR as Market President in 2001 before returning to Portland in that role from 2006 to 2016.
The outgoing Decker joined Alpha in November 2016 after spending the majority of her career between Portland and Seattle. She began her career as a Seattle based sales assistant for Eastman Radio in 1981 and later held Sales Manager roles for KINK Portland, WRNO/WEZB New Orleans, and KMPS Seattle. In 1998 she was named General Manager of CBS Radio Seattle and held that role until being promoted to Regional SVP in 2003. She would once again take over that cluster as SVP/Market Manager from 2007 until 2011. Decker then served as Market President for Clear Channel Seattle from 2011 to 2014 and Director of Corporate Sponsorships for Classical 98.1 KING-FM Seattle in 2016 before joining Alpha Media.
Robert Dove has been named SVP/Market Manager for Alpha Media?s stations in Portland, OR. The current Market Manager, Lisa Decker, will be retiring at the end of the year after seven years with Alpha.
Dove most recently served as Pacific NW Region President for iHeart Media. His broadcasting career spanned more than 36 years, starting in sales with Taft Broadcasting and KKRZ FM in Portland. He has been recognized as Broadcaster of the Year by the Oregon Association of Broadcasters and has served on many boards including the OAB, WSAB, Susan G Komen for the Cure, Oregon Ethics in Business, and The Edward R. Murrow Professional Advisory Board. A graduate of Washington State University, Dove was a 2023 recipient of the Hall of Achievement Award at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications.
