In a social media post announcing her departure, Boldon wrote, “Looking to the future? my personal focus is shifting and that means that my time working with these great stations, and even better people, is coming to an end. I am touched by my colleagues for their partnership and appreciate my great Leaders – Rob Babin and Chris Eagan- who are supportive of my decision and have asked me to lead these stations through the holiday. I?m not ready to announce my next ?big thing? yet, but after taking some time in January to relax, recharge and be with family, you can trust that I will.”
Boldon first joined Cox in July 2022 as Interim Operations Manager for their San Antonio cluster before moving to her current role in October 2022 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/243425/emily-boldon-joins-cox-as-atlanta-director-of-operations-wsb-fm-wsrv-program-director-corporate-director-of-ac-hot-ac/).
