Prior to joining KQKQ, Oswald spent five years as Music Director/afternoon host at NRG’s Country ?Froggy 98.1 (https://froggy981.com)? KFGE Lincoln NE and has also worked at WJAG Inc.’s cluster in Norfolk NE.
As part of a letter to listeners (https://sweet985.com/2023/12/05/thank-you-nikki/) on the station’s website, Oswald shared, “We often hear and receive messages saying, ?Thank you, you get me through my morning.? Let?s face it, life is hard. I want you to know that goes both ways. One of the hardest parts of this job is the time it takes. That?s one of the biggest reasons I?m stepping back from a career I love, is to prioritize another job that I love and the most important one I have: the one at home. I love radio. I love this station. I love this show. I?ll miss it all terribly, but I can?t miss these too-fast years of my kids being kids.
