View Full Version : Brandon Boxer Moves From Mornings At WTVN To WODC; WTVN Launches Columbus Morning News

After three years in mornings at News/Talk 610 WTVN (https://610wtvn.iheart.com), Brandon ?Boxer? Nasby will move to Classic Hits “93.3 The Bus (https://933odc.iheart.com)” WODC as Program Director and morning host. Boxer will also continue in afternoons at Country 92.3 WCOL. Outside of a five year stint where he was based in Washington DC as morning and then midday host at 98.7 WMZQ, Boxer has been based in Columbus since 1999 and heard in afternoons on WCOL continuously since then. He has also tracked for many of iHeartMedia?s Country stations across the country. Prior to joining WCOL, he?s also worked at WBOB-FM/KEEY Minneapolis and WBBS Syracuse.
Replacing Boxer in mornings at WTVN will be “Columbus Morning News” anchored by WTVN Program Director Mike Elliott and feature Sports Director Matt McCoy, reporter Scott Jennings, traffic reporter Johnny Hill, and producer Michael Campana. Elliott has been with WTVN since 1999 first as a producer and later PD. He also has programmed Alternative “105.7 The X” WXZX for the cluster.
“DC 101” WWDC Washington DC based Josh Markovitz will move from mornings at WODC to afternoons at “Columbus Alternative 105.7 (https://alt1057.iheart.com)” WXZX succeeding Mike Rafferty. Rafferty, based in afternoons at AC 100.3 WNIC Detroit, will continue to track overnights.
