Neeti Ray will acquire Comedy ?Funny 820 (https://www.iheartradio.ca/funny/funny-820)? CHAM and Business ?BNN Bloomberg 1150 (https://www.iheartradio.ca/bnn-bloomberg-radio-1150)? CKOC Hamilton as well as Oldies ?AM 580 (https://www.iheartradio.ca/am-580)? CKWW Windsor ON from Bell for $445,000. Ray currently owns the South Asian focused “Radio CINA” brand heard on 1650 CINA (https://cinaradio.com) Mississauga/Toronto, 102.3 CINA-FM (https://radiocina.com) Windsor/Detroit, and 106.3 CKIN-FM Montreal. The sale filing notes, “The applicant also requested new broadcasting licenses to continue the operation of the undertakings under the same terms and conditions as those in effect under the current licenses,” not indicating a desire yet to change formats to a similar Ethnic format.
