Smith, who has begun operating the station via LMA, had been serving as General Sales Manager for 7 Mountains Media Elmira NY and previously was Market Manager for Equinox Broadcasting for seventeen years prior to its sale of its Elmira stations to 7 Mountains in 2020. He also worked on-air for the cluster.

Roger Holler’s MARC Radio Orlando is purchasing Sports 1060 WIXC/105.5 W288DZ Titusville FL along with 26 acres of land from Bruce Maduri’s Genesis Communications for $650,000. WIXC will become the company’s second station in the Melbourne market along with Classic Hits “98.5 The Beach (https://beach985.com)” WSBH Satellite Beach.
As part of a divorce settlement between James and Carline Leger, Sylna Leger Bazile and Mya Leger’s Sugar Broadcasting Inc. will acquire Gospel 1400 WIRA Fort Pierce/104.9 W285FN Port St. Lucie and Haitian “Radio Vision Nouvelle (https://www.wpom1600am.com)” 1600 WPOM Riviera Beach/101.1 W266DP Delray Beach FL from their Caribbean Media Group for no consideration. Sugar Broadcasting also owns Gospel “Sugar 900” WSWN Belle Glade.
After ceasing operations (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/246126/northern-arizona-duo-to-cease-operations/) on December 31, 2022, Janet Brown?s Lake Powell Communications has found a buyer for the former Variety Hits ?AZ 93.3? KXAZ/100.1 K261BX and Country ?The Bandit? 1340 KPGE/98.3 K252FG Page AZ. Vance and Karey Barbee’s Southwest Broadcasting will pay $150,000 for the stations with an immediate LMA taking place. The Barbees own stations in and around Show Low AZ, Clovis NM and other parts of eastern Arizona through Estrella Broadcasting and New Star Radio LLC and five non-commercial stations under New Path Communications LLC.
Len Robinson’s Boston Radio Company sells 106.3 WTUF Boston and 1240 WPAX/103.7 W279BD Thomasville GA to Kevin and Dustin Dowdy’s Flint Media for $1.2 million. The deal will be paid with a $25,000 down payment, $75,000 due at closing, and then monthly payments of $10,173.79 plus an annual 5% interest. Flint will also enter into a lease agreement for the station’s real estate for $1000 per month with an option to purchase at an appraised value. Flint Media owns four other stations (https://sowegalive.com) in southwestern Georgia: Classic Hits 930 WMGR/99.3 W257BS Bainbridge, Classic Country “Q92.3” WQLI Meigs, Hot AC “Live 101.9” WBGE Bainbridge, and Classic Rock “Rockin 106.3” WGMK Donalsonville.
Translator SalesVic Michael’s RF Towers LLC purchases 88.9 K205CI Phoenix AZ from Family Stations in exchange for a reduction of their monthly tower rent for 107.5 K298CK Phoenix, which shares the site with K205CI.
