KREF-FM dropped the local programming (https://radioinsight.com/announcements/256838/94-7-oklahoma-city-to-drop-kref-programming/) produced by Metro Radio Group?s 1400 KREF (https://kref.com) Norman in August at the expiration of their two year agreement and has been running the national Fox Sports Radio lineup since. As one of three Sports FMs in the Oklahoma City market, KREF-FM had a 0.9 share in the September 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings trailing Cumulus Media’s “98.1 The Sports Animal (https://www.thesportsanimal.com)” WWLS’ 2.6 and Tyler Media’s “107.7 The Franchise (https://thefranchiseok.com)” KRXO’s 1.4.
