Cavanah joins Cumulus after exiting Audacy Chicago (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/250690/after-33-years-todd-cavanah-departs-audacy-chicago/) in April after 33 years with the cluster. Cavanah joined CHR “B96 (https://www.audacy.com/b96)” WBBM-FM in 1990 as APD/MD and rose to Program Director in 1993. During his tenure he also served as VP/Programming for CBS Radio Chicago and Audacy Chicago and has also programmed Country “US 99 (https://www.audacy.com/us99)” WUSN, Classic Hits “104.3 K-Hits” WJMK and since its launch in 2017, Classic Hip Hop “104.3 Jams (https://www.audacy.com/1043jams)” WBMX. Prior to Chicago, Cavanah worked at KTRS Casper WY, KRXY Denver, and Elektra Records.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has appointed Todd Cavanah as Program Director for 94.7 WLS-FM in Chicago, Cumulus Media?s biggest Classic Hits station. Cavanah joins Cumulus Media and WLS-FM after 33 years at Audacy CHR B96/WBBM-FM in Chicago, where he was named Program Director in 1993. He also served as VP/Programming for CBS Radio Chicago and Audacy Chicago and programmed Country station, US 99/WUSN-FM, Classic Hits station, 104.3 K-Hits/WJMK-FM, and Classic Hip Hop station, 104.3 Jams/WBMX-FM. Prior to Chicago, Cavanah held positions at KTRS-FM in Casper, WY, KRXY-FM in Denver, CO, and at Elektra Records.
