Brown, who currently is heard from 9am-12pm, will replace the departing Damon Amendolara (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/259267/maggie-gray-andrew-perloff-move-to-mornings-on-cbs-sports-radio/) show in mornings on the station. He joined the station in March 2020 and hosted 12-3pm before its relaunch as “The Fan” in March 2022 when the station switched (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/221750/espn-upstate-relaunches-as-the-fan/) from ESPN to CBS Sports Radio network programming. Prior to coming to Greenville, Brown served as a producer and host at multiple stations in Fort Walton Beach FL.
Audacy has announced new weekday programming for The Fan Upstate (97.7 FM / 97.1 FM) in Greenville. The current midday show, ?The Rob Brown Show,? will move to morning drive and be heard weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ET. The station will also begin airing CBS Sports Radio?s ?Reiter Than You? with Bill Reiter from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. Both changes are effective October 2.

This year, ?The Rob Brown Show? won ?Best Sports Show? at the annual State Television and Radio (STAR) Awards presented by the South Carolina Broadcasters Association (SCBA).
