Morgan Murphy Media’s Queen Bee’s Knees LLC will acquire the CP for 96.3 WHBS, Classic Hits “97.7 The Wolf (http://www.thewolf.com)” WOLV, Country “K-Bear (http://www.kbear102.com)” 102.3 WHKB, and Hot AC “99.3 The Lift (http://www.993thelift.com)” 1400 WCCY/99.3 W257CZ Houghton from Houghton Community Broadcasting Corporation, Classic Hits 99.1 WIKB-FM (https://wikb.com) and Classic Country 1230 WFER (https://my979fm.com)/97.9 W250CQ Iron River from Iron River Community Broadcasting Corporation, CBS affiliate WBKB-TV Alpena from Thunder Bay Broadcasting Corporation, and ABC affiliate WBUP Ishpeming and CW affiliate WBKP Calumet from Lake Superior Community Broadcasting Corporation. The deal also includes some real estate holdings held by Marks’ SAMCO Realty Corporation.
Morgan Murphy Media, which also operates under the name QueenB Radio, owns seven radio stations and a TV station in Spokane WA, four stations in Platteville WI, and television stations in La Crosse WI, Madison WI, Pittsburg KS, Victoria TX, and Yakima WA.
