Matthews, who has been with WPAW since 2017 indicated he would be leaving the industry, writing on social media, “Thank you Triad for the last seven years and radio as a whole for the last 12 years. Y?all have made this little Randolph county kid super happy to be apart of your morning commute.” Prior to joining WPAW, Matthews hosted middays at WGTY Gettysburg PA, was APD/midday host of WRHT Greenville NC, and weekends at WQDR Raleigh.
Dale O’Brian and Annie Camp remain in place in mornings at 93.1 The Wolf.
