Music Director/midday host Jared Aman has risen to Assistant Content Director in addition to his current roles. Aman joined KINK in 2011 after spending eleven years at Alternative “Live 105” KITS San Francisco. He has also worked at “94.5 The Edge” KDGE Dallas and Slacker Radio.
Peggy LaPoint, who has hosted the station’s Sunday Brunch since 2014, adds duties as Programming Coordinator. She previously served as morning show producer and host of Sunday Acoustic Sunrise from 2000 to 2004 and has worked in communications for different agencies in Portland.

Effective immediately, Jared Aman will add Assistant Content Director to his title and Peggy LaPoint will add Programming Coordinator to her title.
Content Director, Ken Benson, comments ?Jared has been an integral member of the KINK team for over a decade. He’s an excellent on-air talent with a keen ear for music and incredible programming instincts. Adding the ACD stripes to his title accurately describes his unmatched contribution to KINK’s success.?
“Peggy LaPoint lives, eats, and breathes KINK. Besides hosting KINK’s legendary Sunday Brunch, Peggy is always the first to pitch in wherever needed. Adding “Programming Coordinator” to her business card recognizes the essential role she plays in the KINK programming department.”
Content Director, Max Dugan, also states ?Not only do Jared and Peggy provide critical expertise to The KINK Content Team, they are both A+ humans. I?m thrilled about these two well earned promotions?
