As previously reported (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/257096/report-espn-radio-sets-new-morning-show-licenses-brand-to-betting-app/), Chris Canty, Evan Cohen and Michelle Smallmon will comprise the new morning show from 6-10am Eastern succeeding Keyshawn Johnson, Jay Williams, and Max Kellerman following their show?s cancellation in June.
A former NFL Defensive End, Canty has co-hosted afternoons on ESPN Radio with Chris Carlin and Mike Golic Jr before that since 2021. He also previously co-hosted middays and nights on “98.7 ESPN” WEPN-FM New York.
Evan Cohen currently co-hosts “The Morning Men” on SiriusXM’s “Mad Dog Radio” with Mike Babchik and Willie Colon, but will exit that to move to ESPN Radio. He spent eighteen years with Good Karma Brands’ “ESPN 106.3” WUUB West Palm Beach as a host from 2003-21 and continues to serve as the company’s Vice President of Content. With Good Karma now taking over sales and sales operations (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/256434/good-karma-brands-to-take-over-all-espn-radio-sales-sales-operations/) his utilization makes sense.
Smallmon returned to ESPN Radio (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/239841/wxos-morning-co-host-michelle-smallmon-to-depart-to-join-espn/) last August as an update anchor and fill-in host. She has bounced back and forth in her career between ESPN and Hubbard’s “101 ESPN” WXOS St. Louis, where she served as morning co-host and digital editor over a four year stretch from 2018-22 and had previously worked at ESPN Radio as a producer.
Mike Greenberg’s “Greeny” will continue to follow from 10am-12pm.
Chris Carlin, who currently co-hosts 3-7pm eastern with Canty, will move to 12-3pm along side Joe Fortenbaugh with a show name to be revealed later. He has previously hosted at WFAN New York, WIP Philadelphia and SportsNet New York. Prior to joining KGMZ, Fortenbaugh hosted afternoons at 1470 WSAN Allentown PA in 2010-11 and co-founded NationalFootballPost.com.
Freddie Coleman moves up from late nights to co-host 3-7pm Eastern with Harry Douglas. Coleman has been part of the ESPN Radio daily lineup since 2004, while the former NFL receiver Douglas had been co-hosting 12-3pm since January and also serves as a contributor to football coverage across ESPN platforms.
Amber Wilson remains in evenings, which expands by an hour to 7-10pm Eastern alongside Ian Fitzsimmons. Wilson joined ESPN in 2019 and has hosted 7-9pm since January. A practicing attorney, she previously co-hosted mornings and middays at 790 WAXY Miami. Fitzsimmons had been co-hosting late-nights with Coleman since 2016 and also serves as an analyst and reporter on ESPN Radio’s football coverage.
Qiant ‘Q Myers’ joins the lineup as host of “GameNight” from 10pm-1am alongside rotating co-hosts. Myers joins ESPN Radio from Lotus Broadcasting Las Vegas where he served as host and Program Director of their four Sports AMs since July 2021. He has also spent nine years hosting at “ESPN Central Texas” KRZI Waco.
“SportsCenter AllNight” will continue from 1-6am with hosts including Jay Reynolds and Jim Basquil.

ESPN Radio weekday lineup details
6-10 a.m.: Chris Canty, Evan Cohen, Michelle Smallmon (show name will be announced soon)
ESPN?s marquee morning show timeslot will be led by the trio of Chris Canty, Evan Cohen and Michelle Smallmon.
Canty: A Super Bowl champion and 11-year NFL pro, Canty originally joined ESPN on 98.7 FM in New York. He moved to the national network lineup in 2020 and most recently was a key part of the afternoon lineup from 3-7 p.m.
Cohen: A 20+ year radio industry veteran, on air and behind the scenes with experience across a multitude of national and local stations, including a part-time host role with ESPN earlier in his career. He most recently hosted the SiriusXM Mad Dog Sports Radio morning show since 2011 in addition to SiriusXM?s NBA Radio, weekly.
Smallmon: A former ESPN radio producer on both the local and national level, Smallmon eventually left producing to go back to St. Louis as an on-air voice in 2018, co-hosting a popular morning show before returning to national ESPN Radio in 2022 as a weekend and fill-in host.
10a.m.-12 p.m.: Greeny
Signature ESPN host Mike Greenberg will continue to lead the 10 a.m.-12 p.m. window, expanding on his personal takes from Get Up and welcoming a variety of contributors and insiders to share their perspective with listeners as well.
Greenberg: Host of two signature, multiplatform daily shows – Greeny on ESPN Radio (since 2020) and Get Up on ESPN (since 2018) ? the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Famer has been a fixture at ESPN since he joined in September 1996.

Prior to joining, he had already been a fixture on the New York and Philadelphia sports TV and radio scenes both as a producer and an on-air host for many years.

The afternoon drive window features veteran ESPN Radio host Freddie Coleman moving to 3-7 p.m. alongside Harry Douglas.
Coleman: A signature voice on ESPN Radio?s lineup since he joined in 2004, Coleman has led a variety of shows across ESPN Radio, most recently co-hosting the 9 p.m.-1 a.m. show since 2016.
Douglas: A former 10-year NFL pro, Douglas is a contributor across various ESPN studio shows, digital football shows, an analyst on ESPN?s XFL coverage and a mainstay across the radio network, most recently co-hosting the 12-3 p.m. timeslot since January.

The new ESPN Radio lineup culminates from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. with host Q Myers making his full-time, national ESPN Radio debut with GameNight?s return to weekdays alongside a rotating team of co-hosts from across the country.
Myers: An audio industry expert, Myers began as a popular radio DJ, before joining ESPN Radio in Central Texas in 2012. From there, his expansive resume as host and program director continued to grow, most recently with Lotus Broadcasting. Myers began contributing to ESPN in December 2021.
1-6 a.m.: SportsCenter AllNight
SportsCenter AllNight, led by Jay Reynolds, Jim Basquil and a variety of other hosts, continues to wrap up the night of sports and set the table for the following day.
