Following the move (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/254066/the-101-to-be-closed-through-santa-rosa/) of Bilingual CHR ?Latino 95.5 (https://www.latino1009.com)? from K238AF Santa Rosa/KSXY-HD2 to 100.9 KSXY Forestville CA in June, Wine Country Radio has announced its plans for the translator.
The talk show “The Drive with Steve Jaxon? which had been cancelled by Amaturo Sonoma Media Group Talk 1350 KSRO (https://www.ksro.com) in June, will launch on K238AF/KSXY-HD2 weekdays from 3-6pm starting Monday, August 21. The translator will simulcast AAA “95.9 The Krush (https://www.krsh.com)” KRSH Healdsburg in other dayparts.
Wine Country Radio FM Melissa Galliani told The Santa Rosa Press Democrat, “They?re so local, I think they play an important part in our community. I feel that the program is right in line with our core mission and values: quality programming that fits the lifestyles of our listeners.? The Drive with Steve Jaxon is produced by Jaxon and Cathy Ratto’s Vicario Productions and had aired on KSRO for 15 years until being dropped at the start of June (https://www.petaluma360.com/article/news/ksro-cancels-the-drive-with-steve-jaxon/).
