104.9 KTXX-FM has begun simulcasting Regional Mexican “La Raza 95.1 (https://larazalaraza.com/austin/)” 1530 KZNX Creedmoor/95.1 K236AY Westlake Hills, which Norsan operates via LMA from America Telecommunications Group. The addition of 104.9 KTXX-FM makes it the third full-powered Regional Mexican station in the Austin market joining Waterloo Media’s “La Z 107.1 (https://www.1071laz.com)” KLZT and Univision’s “Que Buena 104.3 (https://www.univision.com/radio/austin-klqb-fm/que-buena-104-3-fm)” KLQB.
Sources in the market indicate that 105.3 K287FG/KTXX-HD4 will carry Norsan’s Spanish CHR format.
The Norberto Sanchez led company operates Spanish language stations across the Carolinas and Jacksonville FL in addition to Austin.

Along with our existing Austin station: La Raza 95.1 K236AY-FM/1530 KZNX-AM, these additional frequencies will allow us to serve and embrace the vast and ever-growing multicultural radio audience in Austin.” said Norberto Sanchez, Norsan Media’s CEO.
The format of the station has yet to be released, and the company’s current station: La Raza 95.1 FM/1530 AM will continue to air in Austin. According to Natalia S. Alvarez, President of Norsan Media, the stations will broadcast a super localized content featuring music, entertainment and relevant local news.
The company currently owns and operates Regional Mexican, Latin Urban, Latin Pop/Tropical, Spanish Adult Contemporary/Rom?ntica stations in the Southeast and Austin, TX. The company has a combined reach of over 3 million Hispanics with their coverage in the US.
