Kellar joined KBEQ in 2016 as afternoon host and moved to mornings the following year. He has been paired with Jenny Matthews since October 2019 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/181374/jenny-matthews-to-join-kbeq-for-mornings/). Prior to joining KBEQ, Kellar co-hosted mornings and was Music Director at Zimmer CHR “Y107” KTXY Columbia MO from 2011-16 and has also held on-air roles at KCLQ Lebanon MO and in Peru IL.
Matthews and producer Joe ‘Tater’ Cavanagh remain in mornings. Program Director Todd Nixon told Country Aircheck (https://www.countryaircheck.com) there are “no plans yet on filling this position”.
