Moore led Family Life Educational Foundation sells Christian AC “Miracle 89.1 (http://www.miracle891.org)” KFLO-FM Blanchard/Shreveport LA to Educational Radio Foundation of East Texas and Moore’s Coochie Brake Broadcasting sells “The Light” 92.1 KSYR Benton/Shreveport to Jet Schuler’s 6102 Seawall LLC in a combined deal for $750,000. 6102 Seawall will also acquire KFLO-FM’s tower property in the deal.
The purchase price will be allocated with $75,000 at closing for the KFLO-FM real estate, $175,000 for the non-real estate assets of KSYR, a 15 year promissory note for $500,000 with 5.8% interest for the KSYR real estate, and a donation of the remaining non-real estate assets of KFLO-FM. Excluded from the deal are the rights to the KFLO-FM call letters, intellectual property and employees of the stations, and the mineral rights at the properties.
Family Life Educational Foundation retains KFLO-FM simulcast 90.9 KMML Minden and “90.7 The Promise” K214BE Shreveport.
Charles Anderson will purchase 99.1 WKYY Morgantown KY from Newberry Broadcasting for $200,000. WKYY, which changed call letters from WWKN earlier this month, will become Anderson’s fourth station in the Bowling Green market joining full-owned Classic Hits “100.7 Sam-FM (https://www.bowlinggreensam.com)” WKLX Brownsville and partially owned Hot AC 106.3 WOVO (https://www.wovo1063.com) Horse Cave and Sports “ESPN 102.7 (https://espnradio1027.com)” 1450 WWKU Plum Springs. Newberry Broadcasting is also a partner in WOVO and WWKU. WKYY currently simulcasts WKLX.
Edward Distell sells Regional Mexican “La Pantera 940 (http://www.lapantera940.com)” KWBY Woodburn/93.3 K227DU Salem OR to Bustos Media for $100,000. KWBY’s programming comes from Bustos’ network.
Melissa Eckelhoff purchases Big Chief Broadcasting Company and its Country 99.9 KTCS-FM (http://www.ktcs.com) and 1410 KTCS Fort Smith AR from her mother Ann Harper. The transfer details were not included in the filings. Eckelhoff currently serves as General Manager and Promotions Director for the stations and her husband Troy is Program Director/Music Director.
The Power Foundation acquires Silent 91.5 WJGS Norwood GA from Joy Christian Ministries for $5000.
Translator SalesCSN International will purchase 89.7 W209CH Quincy IL from Sound In Spirit Broadcasting for $20,000. CSN will utilize the translator to rebroadcast flagship 89.9 KAWZ (https://csnradio.com) Twin Falls ID.
Educational Media Foundation will trade 89.1 K206EO Granite WY and 107.9 K300AE Breckinridge CO to Vic Michael’s Mountain Community Broadcasters for 101.1 K266CC Cheyenne.
Ham Broadcasting Company will purchase 91.5 W218CR Central City KY from Hope Media Group for $7500.
