Jackson began his career at the cluster at the former “ESPN 1310” WGH from 1993 to 1996. He would later host at WBWL Jacksonville, WTEM and WJFK Washington, WCMC-FM Raleigh, Yahoo Sports Radio and ESPN Radio. He currently also serves as television play-by-play voice for Old Dominion University for ESPN+ and hosts the Washington Commanders post-game show.
Jackson fills the opening created by Tim Donnelly’s move (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/254048/tim-donnelly-joins-99-9-the-fan-as-afternoon-host/) to “99.9 The Fan (https://www.wralsportsfan.com/rs/page/11063717/)” WCMC-FM Raleigh last month.
Max Media Hampton Roads is proud to announce the return of Scott Jackson to the Max Media family.
Jackson will formally take over the afternoon show on Priority Auto Sports 94.1 on Monday, July 31st. Jackson remarked, ?I am so excited to come back to where it all started. The 757 area has always meant a lot to me. I look forward to the opportunity of informing and entertaining the passionate sports fans in Hampton Roads once again.?
Jackson, who has 30+ years of experience in the industry including stops with the Washington Wizards Radio Network, Studio Host for St John?s Basketball, Host at Team 980AM and 106.7 The Fan and will continue his roles as the ODU Men?s Basketball play by play host on ESPN+ and the Post Game Host of Washington Commanders Game Day.
