WKFS is still playing 3-4 currents per hour, but has removed all of its recurrents and recent golds replacing them with golds mostly from 2000 to 2010. Imaging makes references to “The Kiss You Love Is Back” and positioning has shifted from “Cincinnati’s #1 Hit Music Station” to “Your Summer Party Station”.
WKFS rose from a 1.9 to a 2.1 share in the May 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings (https://radioinsight.com/ratings/cincinnati/) placing it fifteenth overall in the Cincinnati market, but way behind Hubbard CHR “Q102 (https://www.wkrq.com)” 101.9 WKRQ, which placed fifth after a 6.6 to 5.9 drop last month.
