Oliver had served as Program Director of KEYN-FM since 2004 and moved from afternoons to mornings in 2020. His career began in Wichita in 1969 before returning in 1973 with a six year stint at 1240 KAKE before beginning a 24 year run at CHR 107.3 KKRD in 1980, where he would remain until moving to KEYN-FM. While Oliver’s departure from the station is being termed a retirement, we are told that he is not done in radio and will soon be reappearing elsewhere in Wichita.
