With the move comes a new on-air lineup and the return of currents to the station. WZZO will continue to air Rover’s Morning Glory from 5-10am. National tracker Aly Young is added in the 10am-1pm slot. VP/Programming Craig Stevens moves up from afternoon drive to 1-4pm after being added to WZZO’s lineup following the move of former Program Director Joe Bonadonna to the new role of Director of Classic Rock Music Curation for iHeart’s National Programming Group in April. National trackers Big Rig (4-7pm), Klinger (7pm-12am) and Shroom (12-6am) round out the weekday lineup. The station adjusts positioning from “The Valley’s Rock Station” to “The Lehigh Valley’s Real Rock Station”.
WZZO ranked sixth in the April 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings with a 4.1 share well behind Cumulus’ market leading Classic Rock “99.9 The Hawk (https://www.999thehawk.com)” WODE’s 11.4 share.
