From Radio Insight:
https://i0.wp.com/radioinsight.com/wp-content/images/2023/06/yall1067.jpg?resize=200%2C200&ssl=1Midwest Communications CHR “Hot 106.7” WNFN Franklin/Nashville TN has flipped to 90s based Classic Country “Y’all 106.7 (https://yall1067.com/)“.
The flip followed an hour long loop of 2 Unlimited’s “Get Ready For This” before debuting with Randy Travis’ “Forever and Ever, Amen”, Shania Twain “No One Needs To Know”, and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band “Fishin’ In The Dark”.
The new format targets Cumulus Media’s “95.5 Nash Icon (https://www.955nashicon.com)” WSM-FM, which rose lost month from a 7.2 share to 8.8 ranking third overall, but just behind Midwest’s market leading AC “Mix 92.9 (https://mix929.com)” WJXA and Variety Hits “96.3 Jack-FM (https://963jackfm.com)” WCJK.
WNFN has dropped over the past four months from a 3.2 share in January down to a 1.6 in April (https://radioinsight.com/ratings/nashville/). The January monthly was the only time since its 2009 flip to CHR that the station beat iHeartMedia’s “107.5 The River (https://1075theriver.iheart.com)” WRVW, which registered a 3.1 share in April.
