Jess C joins KYLD from sister Rhythmic CHR 102.5 KDON (https://kdon.iheart.com) Salinas CA where she currently serves as cluster Promotions Director and afternoon host. She also hosts middays on Spanish CHR “104.5 Latino Hits (https://1045latinohits.iheart.com)” KZEP San Antonio and weekends on multiple iHeart stations including WJMN Boston.
She becomes the first addition to the JV Show since the passing of host Jeff ‘JV’ Vandergrift in February (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/249157/wild-94-9s-jv-jeff-vandergrift-remains-missing-in-san-francisco/). Much like the syndicated Kidd Kraddick Morning Show, The JV Show will continue to feature Vandergrift’s name with his co-hosts Graham and Selena taking the lead.
Matias has spent her entire career so far at KDON starting as a promotions assistant in 2016 before rising to weekend host, then nights and afternoons.
