Beginning Monday, June 26th, The GAME will become the official ESPN radio affiliate for both the greater Lafayette and Lake Charles metropolitan areas as the station will be now known as ESPN 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles.
In addition to becoming an ESPN affiliate, the station will also welcome to its airwaves Matt Moscona — the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters award-winning host of “After Further Review.”
“In an ever-evolving media landscape, a commitment to being live and local has never meant more,” Moscona said. “That’s why partnering with a great local company like Delta Media Corp. was a no-brainer. I couldn’t possibly be more excited for the opportunity to join the KLWB-FM – 103.7 and KLCJ-FM – 104.1 lineups to bring great daily content to sports fans in Southwest Louisiana about the teams we all love.”
“Matt continues to set the bar on what sports talk radio can be and should be here in the state of Louisiana,” KLWB-FM & KLCJ-FM Brand Manager Raymond Partsch III said. “We are thrilled to be adding him to our weekday lineup. This move is going to help our station ascend to not only one of the best sports talk stations in the state but in the entire region.”
After ESPN’s national morning show “Keyshawn, JWill and Max” airs from 5 to 9 AM, ESPN 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles will kick off its new revamped live and local weekday lineup.
It all begins with “Footenotes” with Kevin Foote from 9 to 11 AM followed by a brand new show with some familiar voices “RP3, D-Loh and Meche” from 11 AM to 1 PM which will feature Raymond Partsch III, Dawson Eiserloh and James Meche. “The Jordy Hultberg Show” will then take over at its new time slot of 1 PM to 3 PM and then followed by “After Further Review” with Matt Moscona.
“For three months, we have been working on this partnership with ESPN radio,” Delta Media Corp. Vice President/General Manager Johnette Cochran said. “We’re so excited to bring the very best shows and content to serve our sports fans in Southwest Louisiana. Onboarding the talented Matt Moscona is a huge value to our afternoon drive. Matt, along with our current sports broadcasters, have a tremendous amount of passion & knowledge for local, regional, and national sports. Our listeners in Lafayette and Lake Charles are in for a treat! It was exciting to seal the deal.?
ESPN 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles will continue to cover the teams you love, including the LSU Tigers, Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, McNeese Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Houston Astros, and local high schools.
