Karolyi, who has served as Brand Manager and afternoon host for Townsquare’s “Q105.7/103.5 (https://q1057.com)” WQBK/WQSH Albany NY since October 2020 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/199960/mike-karolyi-joins-wqbk-as-brand-manager/), will add afternoons at WRKI to his duties. Karolyi spent 28 years at Rock 106.9 WCCC-FM Hartford from 1986 until its sale in 2014 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/89584/wccc-fm-hartford-to-be-sold/) rising through the ranks to Program Director. He also led iRockRadio.com (http://irockradio.com) from 2014 to 2020.
At WRKI, he moves into the afternoon slot that had been held by ‘Large Dave’ Baltrush until his move to join Ethan Carey and Lou Milano in mornings last fall.
