Jenna Kesneck will add Director of Branding and Programming duties for WWRM in addition to her current role overseeing WDUV as well as Alternative “97X (https://www.97xonline.com)” WPOI-HD2 and “X106.5 (https://www.x1065.com)” WXXJ Ponte Vedra Beach/Jacksonville. She has spent her entire career with the cluster, where she started in Sales in 2011 as an Account Manager. She became Director of Marketing and Promotions for “97X” WSUN and CHR ?Hot 101.5 (https://www.hot1015tampabay.com)? WPOI from 2014-2017, APD/MD of those two stations from 2017-2019 and added programming duties for WSUN in 2019 and WXXJ in 2021 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/206882/wsun-pd-jenna-kesneck-adds-same-role-at-wxxj/) and WDUV last August (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/236458/cox-tampa-promotes-john-brennan-and-jenna-kesneck/).
Current WWRM APD/midday host Kristy Knight will move to WDUV as APD and afternoon host. She will succeed former WFEZ Miami host Giselle Andres in afternoons at WDUV. Knight joined WWRM in 2018 after 24 years at iHeartMedia Tampa where she worked at 95.7 WSSR and 100.7 WMTX after stints at 104.7 WRBQ in the market and 92.1 WMAD and 104.1 WZEE Madison WI.
Succeeding Knight as APD at WWRM and also joining the station as afternoon host is Sam Nirenberg. Nirenberg currently hosts middays at CHR “Hot 101.5 (https://www.hot1015tampabay.com)” WPOI and afternoons at Alternative “97X” WPOI-HD2 and “X106.5” WXXJ Jacksonville. She will add APD duties at WPOI-HD2 as well, while departing Hot 101.5.
Cox Media Group (?CMG?) today announced that Kristy Knight, Sam Nirenberg and Jenna Kesneck have been promoted. In their new roles, each will further impact the landscape of CMG Tampa programming for Magic 94.9 and 105.5 WDUV.
Knight is making the jump to Afternoon Drive from 3pm-7pm ET on 105.5 WDUV. She?ll also be the station?s Associate Program Director.
Nirenberg joins Magic 94.9 in Afternoon Drive from 3 pm-7 pm ET and will become the Associate Program Director of Magic 94.9 and 97x (WPOI-HD2).
Kesneck, the Director of Branding and Programming for 105.5 WDUV, will add Magic 94.9 brand manager duties.
Knight joined CMG Tampa and Magic 94.9 FM in 2018. Nirenberg joined CMG Tampa and 97x in 2013, and Kesneck joined in 2011.
