The Minnesota native has been with KSON since 2007 and during her tenure in San Diego also programmed Soft AC “Easy 98.1” KIFM turned Classic Hits “Sunny 98.1 (https://www.audacy.com/sunny981sd)” KXSN from 2013 to 2020 and AC 96.5 KYXY (https://www.audacy.com/kyxy) from 2018 to 2020. O’Brian began her career as a programming assistant at Country 103.5 WYNY New York from 1989 to 1992 and then spent three years in nights and then afternoons at 98.1 KBUL Reno followed by a decade at Country 95.5 KWNR Las Vegas where she rose from nights to middays to mornings while adding Music Director and later Program Director duties.
