Romero most recently spent eleven years at Desert Valley Media Group Rhythmic CHR “Power 98.3/96.1 (https://power983.com)” KKFR Phoenix rising to PD in 2019 until exiting in February. He has also programmed KSRV and KWYD Boise from 2008 to 2012 and KWIE Riverside from 2004-2007. He has also worked at KDAY Los Angeles and had an earlier stint at KKFR and sister “Hot 97.5” KMVA Phoenix.
He fills the opening created by last summer’s resignation (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/227524/audacy-rhythmic-chr-regional-pd-mike-buhrman-announces-resignation/) of ‘Big Mic’ Buhrman.
Audacy welcomes Ben ?Complex? Romero as brand manager for 102.5 KSFM (KSFM-FM) in Sacramento. In this role, Complex will oversee content strategy, talent, operations and branding for the station.

Previous roles include assistant program director and music director for Wild 96.1 in San Bernadino, CA, assisting in relaunching K-Day 93.5 in Los Angeles, program director for Wild 101 and BOB FM 96.1 in Boise, ID, assistant program director and music director for Hot 97.5 in Phoenix, and program director for Power 98.3 in Phoenix.
