I just noticed that the former KKPC 1230 (101.9 The Lake) changed its call sign to KDZA, the station's original calls between 1948 and 1993.

So I heard on the top of the hr, that the call letters from 101.9 was changed to.. To KDZA, but what i am confused about? I thought 101.9 and 1230 is locally owned and not owned by Iheart? I went to the KDZA website and it is linked to Iheart? So what's going on here?

The station is owned by Mountain Radio Group. As for KDZA. You're right the calls used to be on IHeart owned 107.9 FM and 1350 AM in Pueblo. In May of Last year 1350 changed calls to KUBE to warehouse them because 93.3 in Seattle had the KUBE calls prior to the flip to sports and so at some point they put the calls on 1350 AM.
