KCCL Woodland/Sacramento CA, the station has set a “K-Hits Celebration” for Friday, April 7 ahead of the sign-off of the Classic Hits brand.
From 3-6pm on Friday, KCCL will “celebrate the history of K-Hits” with current and former staffers. The promo states, “You?ll hear a lot of familiar voices during our little party?. Joey Mitchell, Big Jim Hall, Rico on the Radio, Susan Wright, Jennifer Steele, Drivin? Dave, Sandy The Soccer Mom, and many others who have handled the mic over the many years on K-HITS. We?ll bring our best stories and re-live the fun so please join us for this unforgettable tribute to you, our K-HITS fans.”
It is expected that Lazer Broadcasting will add KCCL to its network of rimshot signals in the Sacramento area featuring their flagship Regional Mexican “Radio Lazer (https://www.radiolazer.com/sacramento/)” brand. Lazer is currently heard on 94.3 KGRB Jackson in the southeast corner of the market, 97.9 KLMG Esparto on the west side of the market, and 103.3 KBAA Grass Valley in the northeastern corner of the market.
