Spike had been part of the morning show since its launch in February 2000 after previous stints at Alternative “105.1 The Edge” WXDG, “93.3 The Zone” KKZN Dallas and 103.9 WDRE Philadelphia. He was the last original member of the morning show team besides Mojo.
In a social media post this morning, Spike wrote, “For more than 23 years, it has been a dream come true to entertain you. I never took it for granted. It’s with much love that I say THANK YOU for your support. Radio is in my blood so to say I’m going to miss it would be a massive understatement. https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/72x72/1f494.png
