Anderson worked in sales and served as a weekend host at WIIL from 2012 to 2019 when she moved to WXLC (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/173936/wxlc-debuts-new-lineup-led-by-wes-mckane-leah-anderson-in-mornings/) as morning co-host alongside Wes McKane. With the relaunch of WXLC as “Star 102.3 (https://www.mystar1023.com)” and the recent cuts (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/249490/alpha-media-makes-round-of-cuts-in-suburban-chicago/) at the Alpha Chicago stations, Anderson succeeds Stino Cirigliano on the WIIL morning show. She will also continue at WXLC as midday host.
