Gallo has been heard in Houston since 1971, most recently in a fourteen-year run in mornings at Cox’ “Country Legends 97.1 (https://www.countrylegends971.com)” KTHT from 2007 to 2021 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/213217/large-round-of-layoffs-hit-cox-media-group-stations/). He also spent 21 years at CBS’ 100.3 KILT-FM and had stints at 1070 KENR, 1230 KNUZ, 101.1 KLOL, and 107.5 KHTC in the market. He has also been hosting mornings for SuiteRadio’s “The Legend” Classic Country format.
His “Gallo Go-Round (https://www.suiteradio.net/gallo)” will be made available by SuiteRadio to air in any daypart with 5 hours of content featuring 4 breaks per-hour utilizing the station’s existing music logs.

A double-digit daytime dominator, now this Texas Radio Hall of Famer makes his way on to the national stage. ?The Gallo Go-Round? with Dan Gallo is here.
Dan Gallo is a 2012 Texas Radio Hall of Fame inductee and has been heard for years on legendary radio stations such as Houston?s KNUZ, KENR, and KILT. He was most recently the host of ?The Breakfast Flakes? on Cox Media?s Country Legends 97.1, Houston. Dan is topical, timely and relevant, but someone this charming is also quirky and corny. That?s just Dan, friendly, inviting, engaging and entertaining – everything you?d expect from a Hall of Fame broadcaster. And that?s just day one!
?What separates us from others in this space is our focus on the personalities. First, foremost and always. We do not cover shifts. We offer shows -and damn good ones.? -said Rowdy Yates, Suite Radio?s OM of Country Programming.
?What is so impressive is the seamless transition between our custom crafted content, and the local radio stations? programming, music and commercials. He really becomes a integral part of your radio station. Dan will be ideal for the middle of the day, but the show is strong enough to run in either drive time if that is where your greatest need might be.? -remarked Pat Fant, Suite Radio?s CFO.
The five hour per day, six day a week show is delivered via Synchronicity, with spot clearance handled by Key Networks. The show will begin on Monday March 27th, 2023.
