Lern has spent her entire career at sister Classic Rock 94.7 KSHE. She joined the station as Promotions Coordinator and part-time host before becoming morning co-host and midday host in 2012. She has hosted afternoons since January 2020 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/183603/kshe-revamps-on-air-lineup/). She will continue to host the weekly ?Monday Night Metal? program on KSHE. She will make the move to KPNT starting on April 17.
Williams is a St. Louis based stand-up and improv comedian originally from Southern Illinois. He will make his debut on April 3.
They will join incumbent members Scott Rizzuto, Moon Valjean and King Scott filling the vacancies created by the death of Jeff Burton (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/238039/kpnts-jeff-burton-loses-battle-with-prostate-cancer/) last August and the firing of Tony Patrico (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/246966/tony-patrico-fired-from-kpnts-rizzuto-show-for-allegedly-soliciting-porn-for-prizes/) in January. The station’s announcement also notes that Rizzuto, who has been at KPNT since 2003 and leading the morning show since 2014, has signed a five-year contract extension with the station.
