Crane previously served as PD/morning host for Seven Mountains Media AAA “98.7 The Freq” WFEQ State College PA until its flip to Classic Country in 2019. He has had a varied radio career with stints as a newscaster for Bloomberg Radio Tokyo, Tokyo business correspondent for NPR’s Morning Edition, Station Manager for Jazz 90.1 WGMC Rochester NY, and talk host at Liberal Talk 950 WROC Rochester.
With the addition of Crane, Julie Koehrer moves from afternoons to mornings. Koehrer, who has been with WCNR since November 2021, will continue to serve as Music Director.
The changes fill the openings created by Kendall Stewart’s move (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/247027/kendall-stewart-joins-the-current-as-apd/) to Minnesota Public Radio AAA “The Current (https://www.thecurrent.org)” KCMP Minneapolis as APD in January.
