Justice had been serving as Assistant Brand Manager, Production Director, and afternoon host at the station. Prior to joining WNWN, Justice has previously programmed Midwest’s “Cat Country 98.9” KTCO Duluth, served as OM for Iowa City Broadcasting Montevideo MN, hosted mornings at WBWN Bloomington IL and WLLR Quad Cities, and worked on-air at KIOA Des Moines and KEEY Minneapolis.
Justice succeeds Miggy Santos in programming WNWN. Santos, who also served as morning host, recently resigned after just short of four years (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/176558/people-moves-5-3/) at the station.
JD Justice has been named Brand Manager of Country WNWN, WIN 98.5 in Battle Creek, Michigan, which is owned and operated by Duke Wright?s Midwest Communications. JD was promoted from his Assistant Brand Manager and Production Director positions. The Brand Manager position became available when Miggy Santos recently announced his resignation as Brand Manager and Morning Talent.
JD previously served as Brand Manager at Midwest Communications, Country KTCO, Duluth. He also spent time as Program Director at Kix 101.1 in Marshalltown, IA, mornings at B104 Bloomington, IL and WLLR in the Quad Cities. JD also spent time at KIOA Des Moines and K102 Minneapolis.
JD will retain his PM Drive show. A search is now underway for a new morning talent at WNWN.
