The Universal Church began operating the Estrella Media owned station on January 1 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/247117/vision-latina-96-7-debuts-in-southern-california/) when they flipped Regional Mexican Oldies ?La Ranchera 96.7? to Spanish Christian programming as ?Vision Latina 96.7 (https://visionlatina.com)?. They will now purchase the station outright for $8 million. KWIZ covers Orange County in the southern half of the Los Angeles market.
The buyers also operate a Spanish Christian television network based at KJLA Ventura/Los Angeles.
Estrella Media retains its Regional Mexican trimulcast “Que Buena (https://estrellatv.com/radio/que-buena-los-angeles)” 94.3 KBUA San Fernando, 94.3 KEBN Garden Grove, and 105.5 KBUE Long Beach plus brokered Vietnamese “Little Saigon Radio (https://www.littlesaigonnow.com/little-saigon-radio-11431.html)” 1480 KVNR Santa Ana and KRCA-TV Los Angeles in the market.
