Innes joined WNRQ in March 2021 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/206489/josh-innes-show-to-anchor-mornings-at-105-9-the-rock-nashville/) with his show added at 106.7 WLLZ (https://1067wllz.iheart.com) Detroit in April 2022 (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/222631/josh-innes-show-expands-to-wllz-detroit/) and “Rock 103 (https://rock103.iheart.com)” WEGR Memphis in September (https://radioinsight.com/headlines/242172/josh-innes-show-expands-to-memphis/). Co-host Tim Battle is currently holding the morning slot on all three stations.
Prior to joining WNRQ, Innes spent most of his career in Sports radio with stints in afternoons at Houston’s “SportsRadio 610” KILT, afternoons and mornings at “SportsTalk 790” KBME (including syndication to New Orleans), and early afternoons at “ESPN 97.5” KFNC. Innes also hosted nights and afternoons at 94.1 WIP Philadelphia.
